Straight answers about the current demo
What works today, what remains illustrative, and what would require a separately configured service.
Is the availability live?
No. The map and explorer use bundled illustrative records. Every demo label and disclaimer is intended to make that boundary clear.
Does entering a postcode contact a location service?
No. It changes only the local interface and shared URL. No geocoding request is made.
Can I create an email alert?
You can preview the validated setup flow, but the address is never sent and no alert is created because an email service is not configured.
Where are favorites stored?
Favorite result IDs and the selected view mode are stored only in this browser using localStorage. They are not tied to an account.
How does country selection work?
An explicit country choice sets the country and language cookies. Detection can suggest a region, but dismissing a suggestion never accepts it for you.
Can this interface use real stock later?
Yes. The typed demo records and map payload provide clear seams for a future, authorized availability API without pretending that service exists today.
